IE (IE8) is suddenly creating small fonts again while in preview mode. Live site does not reflect the small font issue in either IE8 or FF.

Seems this occured roughly after loading the page to edit in FF mode. Afterwards IE8 is now rendering random fonts in super small size, causing layout havok. Forced to use FF mode for now in order to layout design and preview in a live IE8 browser to test results.

Hey Stylizer Team,

I'm having trouble with the 5.0.10.722 build of Stylizer on Windows 7 Pro x64.

The trouble is when reloading a document in Chrome. It takes a solid 10-20 second to reload the DOM tree. The FF 3.6 snap in seems to be working faster. Let me know if I can provide any more info.

Thanks!

guys, after frequent use of Stylizer 5, I am becoming increasingly frustrated. Especially when leaving firefox and chrome modes into any ie mode. Frequently it becomes very, very slugish to to the point where I just have to close it and restart it.

Please view the following page in ie7 mode: http://mirror.inacronym.com/faq.php . If you will attempt to style the page for a good bit, you'll notice about 3 - 5 minutes into updating the page, it becomes impossible....

Stylizer 5, Chrome, dropdown Superfish jQuery menus do not work. This menus require javascript so it may be something related to it. They work on the other browsers, though.
I can not provide a link to the site I'm working on, because it is yet protected by a NDA. I will try to reproduce this error asap in another site or will let you know as soon as it gets published which will happen next week.

I'd very much like to upgrade my v4 key to v5 so I can start using Stylizer on my Mac. However, I know the new licensing structure only permits use on two machines. Therefore, I will want to keep v4 running for those times when I take it out on the road on my USB stick and plug it into whatever computer I need to work on.

Question is, if I upgrade my key for use in v5, will it still work in v4?

Hey all,

Just wanted to let you know that the long-awaited Mac version of Stylizer is set to release sometime next week.

We haven't set the price yet, but there will be an option to upgrade existing Stylizer 5 license keys to multi-platform keys for a reduced price.

Thanks to all of the beta program members who helped us get ready for this release. We're proud of what we've accomplished, and think that you're all going to love what we've got in store for you.

I'll leave this thread open until the release day, so feel free to post any questions or comments about the new version. I'll attempt to answer them as best as I can.

Thanks for your support,

I was attempting to use Stylizer for a somewhat different use - producing the CSS for an eBook in ePub format, rather than a web page, per se.

However, it turns out that Stylizer converts the element names in the CSS to upper case (eg P vs p).

ePub relies on XHTML, which is case-sensitive and lower-case elements are required (http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/#h-4.2)

Consequently, Stylizer is rather impractical for editing anywhere where XHTML is required, such as ePub.

Hey team,

Look @ this site using the IE8 snap in:
http://67.19.28.117/~flangesk/

But in the real desktop IE8, the clearfix on the .container_12 works as it should.

When I have a part of the DOM selected in the breadcrumbs below, I am unable to CTRL+Click on a node to search for rules that apply to it.

It does NOT work the first few time after I do a fresh-restart of Stylizer 5 (July 15th Build). It is very difficult for me to reproduce the exact steps, but it generally follows like this:

Spacebar - hover an element, Spacebar to select it in the DOM.

CTRL + Hover over the elements to see them hi-lighted by Bullseye

Click CTRL+Click an element to search for rules applied to it

Repeat 3-5 times

The buggy behavior is that when you try to CTRL+Hover an element, it no longer appears with bullseye, and CTRL+Clicking selects the element to make a new rule out of it.

Could someone please explain the proper work-flow to achieve the amazing speedups that are claimed. Proper page layout / styling is a marriage between css and proper markup. I need to have another editor open just to edit the html file. It would seem to me that you could get a more efficient to edit both in the same application (as all the other css editors do). The Stylizer is very easy to work with and does a great job. I am just looking for the most efficient way to make use of this product, whether starting from scratch or modifying an existing layout.

Thank you
