    Hello,
How can I open a site, which I developed, that uses a non-standard SSL certificate? I do work for the U.S. Department of Defense. They create and use their own SSL certificates. These certs are always reported as "suspicious" to outside users. How can I get Stylizer to open a site that uses one of these "non-trusted" certs? This is very important.

    Thanks.

Is this happening to you in both Firefox and Internet Explorer mode, or just one of the browsers?

I actually had not thought of that. I just tried again and that specific error is coming from the Firefox mode. IE mode begins to open it but then hangs while trying to download and display the CSS files. The page contains 3 files. When I click on any one of the file titles, I see this error on each CSS file tab: "This file could not be downloaded: The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send. (Send failure)".

Is there any chance you can post a URL to this site?
We need to be able to reproduce the problem.

What is this error? it might be due to intranet problem. In firefox it is asking for security certificate but if you allow it, it is working.

  9. Does this error appear from a standalone FireFox browser outside of Stylelizer?

Besides Stylizer as a possible issue, did you install the root chains properly and trusted on your system? Is your third party certificate management software working ok and configured properly? When did your organization get a CON (what is the link to the CON) for this software?

CON: Certificate of Networthiness, used for software approval and purchase after software has been tested for security concerns before it is authorized for use on a DoD Army Computer system.

Hi and sorry for the long delay. In a standalone Firefox it works but requires a few steps to get there. It first lets me know that it does not trust the site cert. "This Connection is Untrusted. You have asked Firefox to connect
securely to http://www.us.army.mil, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure." If I click the link that "I understand the risks" it presents me with instructions on adding an exception rule. From there it stores the exception and takes me to the site.
As for the other questions I have no idea. The root certs are locally installed and functional outside of Stylizer. Just doesn't work inside of it with Firefox.

  12. Is there anyway Stylizer can prompt for SSL certificates? this is pretty annoying when working with a intranet certificate authority on an ssl-only website.

    Hello again,
I was hoping tha version 5 would address, and fix, this. I just upgraded and the SAME issue is still present.

Opening in Stylizer using IE7 or Chrome displays the page WITH the correct styles, but shows an error in the CSS grid of "This file could not be downloaded. (SendFailure)"
There is a button below the text that says "Reload". Clicking it does nothing,

Opeing in Stylizer usig FireFox 3.6 displays a dialog of:
pmbp.usace.army.mil uses an invalid security certificate.
This certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is not trusted.
    (Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer)
I click OK and the page goes blank.

PLEASE do something about this! I really like this product and have spent money on it.
